A guy found this snake in the cabin of his big boat ,He said he tried to get it out with out killing it but it was to fiery and he was concerned about leaving in there.

Any one know what it is.

The boat was anchored on salt water up in the Northern Territory.

another mildly venomous snake hits the DUST ...very sad indeed :(
looks like it was beaten quite a bit looking at all the gashes on it too...

Yes as Kris and Wranga said, there is never a needed to kill a snake, especially when there is people you can call to remove them. This really ( im not gonna say the words) but people should be bloody educated on what species of reptiles, snakes mainly that naturally live in there area.
Thanks Tim.

good possibilitiy that it was able to get on the boat in what ever was carried on from land ,,may have hitched a ride in a tub or a box ..and no one noticed the snake prior ...would have been better off hooking it up even with a rod or something of a hook type thing and sticking it in a tub/container with a few air holes ...taken it back to shore and get an ID . ..anyhoo its dead now,so no use whining about it ...

night tigers (Boiga irregularis fusca) are very common over the top part of there range, look at the ones from the kimberlies for instance, very common, its just they seem rare because all the areas where people inhabit (east coast) is only where the common form is found (boiga irregularis irregularis)

thats very sad another one bites the dust because people think all snakes a highly dangerous to them, sad thing is if it was even a carpet snake they still would of killed it because they wou;dnt of known
