Hey Everyone,
I recently built several tub racks and thought I would add pics of setting it up.
Firstly I bought these tubs from the warehouse, each one comes with 5 tubs that are 45x33x15cm, these are pretty decent quality as well, they normally cost $45 I think but I got them on special for $25 each.
I will be heating by running a strip of heat cord behind each tub at the bottom which is more then enough in Cairns
I bought 4
If you just put the rack together normally there is a small gap inbetween each tub so I bought 3mm mdf and cut it up, each peice gives you enough wood for 3 tubs,
I cut it into little shelves using a jig saw to fit above each tub
And made a bit of mess
Putting them together is pretty simple but kind of hard to explain, I built them upside down so starting at the foor and working my way up (cause there upside down)
Each leg locks in and makes a click noise as it locks in, I put in two first
Then slide the wood in then lock the wood in with the next to legs
Once its done you need to get the tubs ready, one thing I hate about tubs is putting the ventilation holes in (takes so long and its boring )
So I come up with a good plane
I invited redlittlejim and his wife over for dinner, after complain about having to do it, one thing led to another and his wife ended up soldering all the tubs for me thanks heaps Sonya
