 Went to get my little 2.5 month old spotted out for a slither around, look in it's enclosure and the bugger has gotten out!!! Was there 1am this morning playing around on it's stick. I have been tearing the house apart looking for it, I think the bugger might be under the TV unit which weighs a ton cos it's solid timber. Wish me luck!

you thoroughly checked the enclosure? in all the corners etc (don't know what enclosure you have) Look in the immediate area around the enclosure. when mine get out they are never too far away

im so slow at typing

Good luck mine is still AWOL, they are masters at getting out I can tell you! didnt help that the clip wasnt on properly :( I tried putting heat mats out and a hide etc

First thing I done was check around enclosure, I have emptied out enclosure 30 by 30 by 30 Terrarium. It's only a metre away from TV unit to where the Terrarium is kept so I have a 98% chance of finding it in there, either that or in the lounge cos I fell asleep there last night and my baby usually seeks me out, just loves being handled and hasn't once snapped at me or kids even when I smell of mice. Turned the lounge upside down and inside out but couldn't find it.

A mate recently found a diamond yearling that had been missing months....... hope you find it.

Good luck put a heat mat out and go for a walk after lights out :)

Turn aircon on low setting, heat mat strategically positioned.
Wait.

WOW:eek: really hope u find him.... Would hate the feeling if I lost mine... Good luck and keep us posted. My mate lost one of his for months, then one day it appeared on the heat mat he put out...

When i had a spotted escape from the rack this season it followed the wall and went under the first gap it came to which was a inbuilt cupboard and stayed there for a couple days till i took on the monster job of carefully moving everything stacked inside.
Before i found it i put flour across all doors etc so i could see if it left the room, but it was quite happy staying in the one place.

Put a nice warm mouse outside the tv cabinet - if it's hungry it'll find it

Mine used to hide in the top track of his terranium, never thought he could get up in there but he did and i pulled everythink out of his enclosure having a heart attact to him popping his head out after 15mins to see what the fuss was.
Goodluck finding it, so tiny to be lost :(

After tearing my room apart I found my 'missing' stimmie behind the fake rock backdrop that had the sides, top and bottom sealed. He got in there via a tiny hole in which i had the thermometer probe sticking out of.
Hope you find him soon. Keep positive and sweep the house from one side to the other.

FOUND Yay!!! My 4yo girl open the front door this morning and there was Spot on the doormat! How lucky was that, it tagged my missus while the kids were waking me up didn't even think of tagging daddy though. Is back in home with gaffa tape all over the enclosure. As for why it got out we think our 2yo took it out to play cos what I forgot to mention was door was open bout a kiddies hand width.
Thanks to all of you for your advice and well wishes it was much appreciated. YAY!!!

I hope the tape is used in a way that the snake can't get access to it otherwise you might be posting how to get a snake unstuck.
