So I got a 100*50*50cm vivarium for my soon to arrive Pygmy dragons(2). Just wondering your thoughts on if a 5 or 10 UVB bulb. At the moment the hot end is 32 (40 in highest basking spot) and 25 at cool end( I'm hoping a 25 watt UVB will make up the difference, let me know wat u think) I'm just wondering if a 5 or 10 UVB for my UVB let me know wat you reckon.

Hey mate for A Pygmy bearded dragon. I would use A UVB10 bulb as they are for species who bask under direct sunlight. The UVB5 are for rainforest species such as Boyds would be my guess.

Most of the full spectrum reptile UV bulbs come in 2, 5 and 10%. You could get away with either the 5 or 10% but if you have not purchased the bulb yet then 10% would be the best choice. Your wattage is going to dictate the brightness of the bulb and not the heat output as fluro bulbs only give off marginal heat.
