Hello all,

To those who have ceramic heater,

What is it with those adapter thingies? I need to use a ceramic heater to heat my enclosure, but the light fittings is a bayonet, and all those ceramic heaters that I find on eBay are all screw tops!
I know I need to use an adapter anyway, but can you get one that have bayonet tops?
If not, I'll have to pull the light fitting out, and get a new one, and fit it in, and do all sorts of electromechanical stuff, and I hate that sort of thing!

Please help, and quick!!

Thomas.

you should use a ciramic lamp base for anything more than 60w

I have a 60w spotlight globe in a normal plastic bayonet... Should I change it to a ceramic? Or just keep an eye on the plastic for discolouration or cracking?

60Watts bayonette normal globe should be okay.
As Ren said, for a ceramic heater a ceramic base should be used...:D
