Now some of our twelve year old boy. He's had multiple cancers removed over his life (mast cell tumours) but the second photo shows his favourite activity.
Not to be left out, our rescued Amstaff had to make an appearance at the end. He's probably about three and we got him after the police and RSPCA took him and handed him over to a vet. He had a badly fractured leg for weeks which had not been seen to and in the end needed amputation. He doesn't miss it much and we got a very loving dog out to add to our collection.
Absolutely love Am Bulldogs and wouldn't hesitate to get another in a heartbeat. The only problem is they are sun-loving dogs and up here that means lots of skin damage and tumours as they get older.
Both of ours are Scott-type predominantly but have traits from the Johnson line as well. I prefer the slightly smaller size the Scott blood gives them as they handle the heat up here better than the larger specimens.
Could go on all night but will leave it there for now. Shoot me a PM if you have specific questions.
