I recently caught what i think is a Southern Angle Headed Dragon while in the Watagan Mountains recently (Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast NSW area)

I would like to know for sure what I caught.

I was surprised how easily it let me catch it and how calm it was while i held it and had a good look at him. When I first saw it I thought it was a Boyds, but once I caught it it was obvious it wasnt a Boyds.

My GF took some pics, but I wont be able to get them for a few days.

I ws hoping someone could share some pics of angle headed dragons for me? please :D:D

google is the first thing I did, the pics were of dozens of different species so while there was some pics of the lizard I found, there was also lots of pics of different species too, so it doesnt really confirm an identity.

that looks like what I found, very pronounced ridges up each side of the head.

It was a very nice lizard. Stoked to find a new critter I hadnt seen before and get to hold it for a close up look :D
