since i was told i cant post about this on another angle headded board i thought id make one here and find out...

by the sounds of it boyds are easier to care for and a bit more hearty then angles

angles are on basic and boyds are on specialist in s.a

but by the sounds of it in all the other states its the opposite?

i might be wrong so please correct me if i am

but can someone explain this a bit more to me because i have been considering getting angles for a while and have my name on a waiting list somewhere (i wont be able to get them for quite a while still so i have time to research more) and i want to no a bit more about this

thanks

LOL yes im sorry amazonian this thread is for S.A PEOPLE ONLY go start ur own thread :p

jokes i would love to no the info on all the states! because it doesnt make much sence to me right now only thing i can think of is because they are affected by the temp easily maby thats why each state is different? i mean s.a would have to be warmer then nsw wouldnt it?

who knows its confusing

Boyds were a pretty rare species in captivity untill recently hence the class 2 (much like Womas).

However alot of wildcaught adults made it into captivity (yes I have had great luck with GTP's & Boyds pffft!) which has crashed the market and given opportunity for alot more keepers to start breeding them.

Just like GTP's going from $5000 down to $1800 in a single season, Boyds have gone from $650 down to $300.

ahh i see, i noticed that boyds were more then angles, why are angles on class 2 in some states then? because they dont cope in the heat or because they were some what rare in captivity at some points aswel?

No idea,
Who can really understand any officials reasoning? lol
I'd say probably because of both reasons, but I don't know for sure.
They are a specialist animal needing a little more care than a beardie etc, maybe thats why.
