Just wanting some advice for a friend who owns a Jacky Dragon, who is very old (7yrs plus). Recently he has become really aggresive, to the point of attacking.
Nothing has changed for him, he has been in the same enclosure for as long as i can remember.
What would cause this aggression?
He was always such a sweet old lizard, but not now.
Any advice?

Maybe he wants to spend enjoy his retirement in peace? :)

RE: Re: RE: Angry Jacky Dragon

he could have muscle or joint pain and it maybe being touched hurts so he warns you to leave him alone
just a guess :D

Maybe he just wants some female company, he's not getting any younger you know.

he isn't handled that much, he attacks when you go to put food in or change his water. He's pretty much left alone, ie not hassled.
