Hey all,

I've done a search on this subject but could not find out the info I wanted.

So here goes,

My little fella hasn't eating for roughly a month. Now Im not too worried yet.
But I wanted to know if there was any particular reason for him not eating?

He goes through the whole process except the swallowing part. . . .

Mainly I want to know how long without food he can go for, b4 it starts to become an issue. And any ideas on what could be his problem. . . . . . .

Cheers, Keegan

He's a year old isn't he?

A few of our lizards have put themselves in brumation since the cool change has happened.

Snakes often go off food when it starts to get cooler.

What's your temps like in his enclosure? What are you feeding him?

I usually only offer once a week.
If he doesn't take it then he usually does the next week.

Hes just over a year, temp is ok, I haven't got the heat lamp out yet, but the pad is on all the time.
He can regulate his temp well enough.
Hes on weaner mice atm.

Maybe it is just the cooler weather? ? ?
I have just changed his tank too, but he already wasn't eating for three weeks at that point, so I thought I'd do it while he wasn't eating.
He seemed to settle in almost straight away.
Never really hides at all. In either the old or new cages.

i had the same problem with my proserpine untill last week try a live mouse, depending on the size of snake depends on size of mice (pinkie, fuzy, hoper, adult)
