Does anyone here keep C. pantherinus or know of anyone who does? Very keen on obtaining this species

i'm pretty sure he no longer has them, no longer on his site anyway

geez hornet, you are going off on the skinks at the moment, how are the robusta going

the robusta are going great, eatin like pigs but so flightly, hopefully they slow down a little with age. Hopefully getting some Morethia boulengeri in a few weeks time :)

Morethia boulengeri? Why would you bother? Too each their own I guess... Scaly Foots would be boring to some people...

Rob Porter had pantherinus a few years ago, but whether he does now is anyones guess. He used to advertise them for sale.

I love the smaller skinks, whist they are not big and able to be handled they are quite fascinating to watch, i would love to get the common garden skink but i just cant find any breeders. Will give rob porter a go, cheers

I love these guys, one of the best looking small skinks there are.:D

Apparently these C.pantherinus is a termite specialist, so you'd probably need a colony of termites to keep them.

A friend of mine used to keep pantherinus and they are a really interesting captive.

they do fine on a diet of crickets and dog food.

havent heard about that so thats something i will look into. Termites are easy to come by so wouldnt need to maintain a colony

could you ask him if he knows anyone still keeping them?

I stand corrected, i hope someone has these. Heres an interesting article on them, that says they are both nocturnal and diurnal, and consume termites over other insects, however if there arn't any termites they must just eat anything else.
