Howdy,
My female atherton python just laid some eggs about a week ago, 9 good ones and a slug, but was away and she clumped them all together and away from the vermiculite.
Got the eggs out and had to put them in the incubator, with them fixed to some cardboard. One of the eggs died about Wednesday, and cut it open and bleed and cleaned it out. Noticing the eggs are all sinking a bit, the eggs are in about 85% humidy in an exterra incubator. Is it normal for this species of eggs to sink a little bit, or should I give them a light spray of water as they are not actually touching the moist vermiculite?
Couldnt find much in my reptile books and never had Atherton python eggs before. They would be about a week old now.
Cheers,
