Avg life span of Bearded dragon

as title says, what is the avg life span of a (Inland) Bearded dragon? (a good life, fed well, no health problems at all in its life)
and is there any visial way of telling there gender?

fyi: my lil guy is 5 years (approx, give or take a few months) and his going well, never been sick or had ANY problems

ah awsome , also his 5 years old and always been alone, very placid, never bitten or anything. would it be ok to attempt to get him a friend? or concidering his 5 years old and always been alone he wouldnt like another lizard in his enclosure? worth a shot? or is it very presumable he wont like it?

thats what i thought, but i think he might be enclosure territorial?

i think if you take all the ornaments out of the enclosure and give them and the enclosure a thorough clean to remove his smell. also change the position of the setting(ornaments) around so its all different he wouldnt get the whole "my cage" thing going on. that being said im not sure lol just an idea
