hey everyone i just bought a baby carpet python and have had it for around 3 days now, my main concern is that when ever i try to handle the snake it gets really defenzive the snake is aroudn 6 months old any help from any oen would be good thanks heaps

Its only a little fella hes probably classing you as a predator at the moment. Honestly you should leave him alone completely (except for refilling water) for about 2wks. If at that time hes still getting a bit defensive, use a snake hook to get him out and show him your not a threat.

a snake hook? hahah naa, just take a few bites and "be the tree" he'll settle down soon enough ;)
