bearded dragon discolouration

hey guys,
i have an eastern bearded dragon and have had him for a few years now and i went away camping for a week and came back to find that his scales had started to fade to a white in patches! some places it isn't bad, just a little fading, but in others the scales are more white than brown:cry:.
i was wondering if anybody else has had this issue or may know why this is happening. if so thank you very much in advance!

okay yeah thanks it may be shedding but i was just worried cause hes been acting sick and the whiteness is a lot more obvious than it has been before

after a few years of dragon ownership you would know what shedding looks like.

if ur dragon is acting sick you should take it to a vet.

You should take your dragon to the Vet for tests and treatment. It could be scale rot, or fungal infection.
