i recently brought (3 days) an eastern bearded dragon that is 8 months old.
how long will it stay timid and hide under rocks for?
it seems very tired is this normal for a reptile to experience when moving in a new enclosure?
please help i just want to make sure im doing everything right.

generally they will experience some transport lag...& may be quiet due to new habitat
read it wrong..sorry!...
take the dragon out at night..5min & build it up
the are calmer ...will adjust to you easier

what is temp...cool end & head height under basking light?
do you have multiple basking areas.?...reduces dominance issues
feed them all separately ...not in habitat!
if a hiding area is a problem...take it away

the temp at the hot end is about 29-30
and cool end sits abouts 23-25
is that alright?
oh i meant i got him three days ago. i only have one
but yes he keeps hiding under a rock should i take it out

temps should be 38-40* at head height under basking light
23 at cool end is good.........dont let it go below 20* at night..for a juvie

being that he is alone..leave rock in ..
he should adjust within a wk...be more active

raise temps...should help!;)
