Hanging out with Brain Johnson would be the coolest thing. I have met Jimmy Barnes, Mark Lazot, John Farnham, Peter Garret and James Blundell but none of them are as cool as the AC/DC front man.
I've seen so many bands I forget half of them..AC/DC, Guns n Roses, Skid Row, Rose Tattoo, Motley Crue, Metallica, Tool, Green Day, Split Enz, The Angels, The Radiators, The Choirboys, Midnight Oil, Blink 182, Fun Luvin Criminals, Living End, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Poison, Ice House, Boom Crash Opera, Crowded House, Hunters & Collectors, Transvision Vamp, Baby Animals, KIlling Hiedi, Grinspoon, Hole, Dire Straits...the list goes on...

A couple more goodies I have seen are the gurge and the Prodigy the year there was no BDO (96-97?) ... and also the Foo Fighters 02 @ wembley. The foo's just get better with age ...

On the aussie front nothing beats TLE live at the roundhouse ... you can download that one, I recommend it if you werent there and love kick ass aussie rock n roll ... awesome gig.

The Butterfly Effect was great!!! John Butler was cool too... Sophie Monk was dam good, but not for her music ;)
Id Love to see Metallica but not their new album coz well, it was just shyte house

Hmmm.. this could get embarrising! Peter Paul & Mary in Melbourne wjem I was about 16.

Max Merrit & The Meteors at the Ringwood Town Hall when I was about 18.

Pink Floyd at Wembley Stadium in Emgland when I was about 25.

U2 zooropa tour was wicked and LOUD you could feel the bass 150 meters away!!!!! Madonno Girlie show was the best "show". Jimmy Barne Barnestorming left my ears ringing for 3 days.Screaming Jeats was probably the best all up at alittle pub in Tamworth called the Imperial Hotel. Dire Straits was the best sounding I agree.Meating Chopper and Jacko backstage after their wild colonial psyhcho show was awesome. The indoor speedway show I helped organize in late '98 was bloody awesome too I organized a monster truck to pull a car in half in a tug of war with a mack truck!!! The car I got was an old camry and she came in half perfect and Jim bob and I won the final in the sidecars, that was the most exciting show I've seen.

Think I beat you in the embarassing stakes lutzy. My mother took me to see Nelson Eddy when I was about 9 at Checkers. Which was the 'place' to be seen back in Sydney in the sixties. I also went to a John Denver concert at Sydney Showground? The ex won tickets in a Daily Telegraph competition. Yep, he was a dot in the distance although they did have the big screens happening even back then.

top shows were ...
soundgarden 1994
the ramones 1994
ministry 1995
RATM 1995
porno for pyros 1996
the prodigy 95 & 96
and helmet and the beastie boys at the horden in 94.

totally different styles, but i also had a great time when i saw billy bragg, and ed kuepper in 95.
i have seen heaps of other smaller bands that i enjoyed, one that stands out cos they put on a great show was Supergroove.

ministry 1995

I saw Ministry a few years back in Toronto. Awsome! Easily the loudest band I have ever seen and some of the best live sound. They were great.

would almost kill to see....
the cure

I saw The Cure in 1991 at the Sky Dome in Toronto. They were great, the filmed the movie Show the night after in Detroit so our show was a rehearsal. They played for 3.5 hrs. So good, they did everything. I was blown away. Second best band I've seen live. I'm not a fan of Dave Mathews but I saw him too, they were good. The horn player stole the show.

I'm envious of those that have seen Crowded House and the Split Endz. Also would love to see Midnight Oil. And ofcourse desparately wish I'd seen Pink Floyd.
