BIG North Queensland trip?

I would like to make a trip from Brisbane to Cape York this winter (Brisbane-Cairns-Iron range-Cairns-Mount Isa-Brisbane).
I will be looking for many species (Green tree python, Amethyst python, Taipan, etc...) but I'm also looking for time to share with local herpers !
