blue tongue advice

Hello
i have a male blue tongue he's about 2 years old. he is fine, active happy and eats a lot but suddenly it takes him about 4 days to shed properly. before he was always done with it within a day. does anyone have any ideas what this could be?

I find this sometimes with my beardies, but usually they're just a little dryer or the humidity is a little low. Trying soaking the blue tongue, if the beardies still have loose skin after a few days I give them a good bath with shed-eze (think that's how it's spelt) helps to remove the rest. My girl usually sheds over 1-2 days and my boy could shed over 3-5 days sometimes.
