blue tongue photos

Hi everyone, while my husband was out and about yesterday he came across this blue tongue lizard and photographed it.
I thought i would share it with you.

interesting markings- not the usual striped pattern?
i took this pic last summer in our backyard- a bluey without much pigment on it.

Lynfrog, thanks for posting that photo. That bluetongue has totally different markings to the ones around here.
Here is a photo my husband took of the bluetongue as he was making a quick getaway, highlighting the markings.

rett yours is a blotched blue Tongue Different species to the other blue tongues posted on this thread.
