Hi Everyone,

I have three baby eastern Bluetongues about three months old know, but they do not seem enthusiastic to feed! When I purchased them they seemed to eat there food eagerly. Is there any particular reason why this has happened? Perhaps it is the colder months?

Thanks a lot,
James (Reptilemaniac)

All help is appreciated

Hi jinjajoe,

My Old heat mat broke down. I have ordered a new one on Amazing Amazon and am awaiting on its arrival. Is this the cause?

Thanks,
James (Reptilemaniac)

absolutely..... Sydney night time temps will definetely result in Blueys stopping eating at this time of year. Warm them all night & all morning with a break in the afternoon & preferably with a heat mat, put their hide on the heat mat obviously with some substrate between the heat mat & the animals & keep them at no lower than 25 degrees & they will return to feeding ravenously within a week I reckon.....
