So Thursday night I headed down to Bowling Green Bay National Park for a little look. Didn't really come across too much but thought I would put some photos up anyway.

Found this beaut of a water python just next to the track, wasn't fussed at all. This bird I got within 10cm of touching..thought it was sick or something (ID anyone). And lastly just a pic of a goldern orb weaver but the bush was loaded with them, and all monsters too.

I think your bird may be a juvenile Brown backed Honeyeater. How big was it? Nice python.
