I have two bredli , 8 months old. One will only eat live fuzzy mice,and the male still needs to be assist fed. Question how long before I can just leave a dead rat in their enclosure and within two minutes it is gone ,like my other snakes? What should I do, I want to get them on eating defrosted rats.

I wouldn't be leaving anything dead in the cage longer than overnight.
A suggestion, stop assist feeding the male for several weeks and then see if he is interested.
Once had a hatchling that waited 6 months before it decided to eat.
