Does any one know if the Washed sand (that come in big bags at Bunnings) are ok to use for gecko substrate? such as N.levis or N. Amyae???

I use the bunnings washed sand for my geckos without any drama. Sometimes it can be a little to wet and need to allow time to dry out a little.

I bought of bag of double washed sand suitable for childrens sand pits....you can't go wrong with that :)
less than $8.00 for 20 kgs ... from Bunnings of course

yeh i use the RICHGRO washed play sand sand.jpg witch is now located outside not inside anymore, i also noticed last time that bunnings now stock another brand of washed sand stacked next to the richgro sand outside,

I just thought I should point out that play sand doesn't really hold burrows very well.
For my burrowing species I mix in about 30% red desert sand and that seems to do the trick.
