Someone just gave me half a tin of can o pillars from Zoo Med, they're the larvae of some kind of banana infesting moth (Erionota Thrax). Anyone used these for feeding anything?

Oh yeah and they smell like vegemite

My bearded, pink tongue and Ridgey tear christ out of the pillars
My forest dragon on the other hand does swan dives from one side of the cage to the other when she sees the can in my hand.

Simone.

Ive seen those they look like they've been dried in the oven, may aswell be CanOcardboard by the looks of em. I perfer fresh and I reckon my liz do too! just my personal op. :D

Just done the taste test on 10 bluey hatchies, all went for a second helping.
Crude Protein min - 15.4%

Anyone got any nutrition comparison with silkworms or mealies? May be good for rehab people to have a tin on the shelf

I used mine mainly on the sick ones, But they're also good for my big fat bluey who has no chance of catching fresh with all those quick Beardies around. They all get a pretty varied diet all week.
