G'day all, I've gone and put up this thread to ask if there is 'Anyone' that currently keeps any Captive Cacophis squamulosus, or Golden Crowned Snakes...
I've noticed there rarity and have been trying to aquire them for years.
I am actually starting to think that there is no Captive bred Population of the species. If we can't find a population within the Herping community does anyone have any ideas on how to start one?

Regards Tony

only people that may have Cacophis squamulosus in captivity would be jamgo on here if he does not have one he would know someone who would (if they are in captivity)
cheers Dayle

Im curious to as if any of the guys that have them have them feeding voluntarily on rodents?

No not yet I have had them for 10 months and they still need a hand with pinkmice

Well i have just had a reply from a bloke that says his oversized female eats unscented mice willynilly.... so it's possible, and other accounts of scenting pinkies with lizards helps
