love the breeding video of the netteds. Is there any chance of getting a shot of a heavly gravid netted? Or just her belly because mine are fat but im not sure if there fat or gravid.

It's often hard to tell if a usually pudgy female is gravid - it's easier to observe her behaviour if you want to find out. Behaviour such as increased pacing and digging in an attempt to find a nesting area. They can also stop eating a day or two before laying or even longer. If you're suspicious it's a good idea to put a nesting box in the enclosure as an option - this will often be enough to encourage a restless female to lay. Keep the nesting box filled with moistened sand or vermiculite - damp not sloppy though.

Here's some photos of the same female in the video when she was gravid a few years ago - she doesn't always get this big though.

wow if i used a pin i reckon she would pop.I give my netteds half heir tank with 30cm of sand and they have all little burrows going through out it but i have to keep it wet as i use normal white sand.
