Hey,
Had a quick search and couldnt find to much.

What I need to know is enclosure/aquarium size for 2 or 3 CND's and the best sand to use.

Thanks,
Doug

I suggest getting Shannon Plummer's book on Central Netted's because it has all the information you'd need.

I have my 2 (M & F) in a wooden enclosure that measures 900mm W x 500mm H x 370mm D and I use the red desert sand. They are messy little devils and will dig and kick sand in their water so you have to make sure that's cleaned out on a regular basis. They need heat and UV.

They eat crickets, woodies and greens such as bok choy and carrot. I just chop the bok choy up and then mix through grated carrot and they love it.

A trio of central netteds will be fine in a 3ftx45cmx45cm enclosure. They don't grow big and they can run all they like in a 3ft cage. Although it is always better to keep them in larger cages if it is possible.
