Certs for buying snake

Hi,

I have recently got my cat3 licence and will be looking to purchase a snake shortly, most likley a south western carpet. Just wondering what will i need to purchse the snake? do i have to show the breeder/seller my licence and should they be giving me a certificate or something to show that the snake has come from a registered breeder/seller? I just want to make sure i don't buy a snake from someone dodgy!

all you need to do is give them your licence number and name and they should give you the same details.
