My brother-in-laws Coastal had babys at the end of last year and we saw that one of the Coastal Carpet hatchlings have got a white spot in the middle of its eye and we think it maybe blind. he has got it to eat and it seems very healthly. has anyone see this before and what is the best thing to do to help the snake?

I've never seen this before but all i would do is keep an eye on it to see if the white spot increases size or if the eye starts to swell up etc. Are you sure its not something stuck on the spectacle rather than being between the spectacle and the eye? Watch to see if it decreases with each shed. If its an eye infection antibiotics would probably help. Consult a herp vet if things dont pick up.
