Communal nesting

This may be of interest to some, personally I had never seen this before, it is a communal nesting site of the garden skink, there must have been over 100 eggs. I found this whilst doing some survey work at a camden golf course.

Wow, how cool is that! i hope you left em undisturbed if possible ?

A lot of small skinks do communially nest but it is generally only three or four females with two or three eggs each.
