Hey guys!

Last year I had the first italian captive birth of Brown tree snake (Boiga irregularis)..
8 eggs, 3 survivors.

I obtained this from two imported examples from Sulawesi.

For a long time I looked for other specimens of this specie but NOBODY in my country (and beyond) can get them for me.

I don't know where to turn...

For next year I would make a f2, but I need other specimens

Could someone help me?

Cheers,

Paolo

  1. this is beautiful!

Guam specimens are much less attractive than Sulawesi or Australian .. I will try ..
but...who to ask'?

No one in Australia can help you without breaking the law. Doesnt mean you wont get offers of help though I guess......

I know..but the Brown tree snake is present in many areas of Indonesia and Micronesia...then, no breaking the law ;-)

I think it is more likely to receive help from you, much closer than me :p

NO Iurac. It is illegal for anyone in Australia to export our native species unless you are a zoo. Please do not try and hint at getting someone to smuggle anything.
