hey everyone!

just wondering what use think the best sand is to use, whatever the stuff is called.

and just wondering if the red desert sand is alright to use an wont hurt the snake!!

Diamonds don't live in sandy deserts. Plus sand can be really annoying to clean. I used to use it in one of my enclosures and when it can to full clean outs I ended up with sand everywhere. :(

Use coco/coir-peat bricks that you get from bunnings. Just make sure they are the ones that DON'T contain fertiliser. I use them on all my Herps/Scorpions without an issue. Probably one of (if not the) cheapest option out there besides newspaper/paper towel.

sand is not great as they can ingest it and have problems if too much ingested, also heard it can get in their heat pits and cause irritation
