Display Lighting

So I'm converting a shelf on my desk into a small enclosure for a hatchling stimmi (300 x 300 x 350) and since I will only have a heatmat under half of the floor for heat I'd like a small light to mount on the ceiling to simulate daylight and to display the enclosure a bit (since the enclosure won't be getting much light in the direction it's facing). Any suggestions as to what I could use to achieve this without emitting much heat?

Led strips would be fine for your purpose.

They stick out a bit, led ones wont produce heat though. Led strips are pretty cheap.
