Hi i have a pair of central inland beardies around a year old
They have been displaying mating behaviour
she arm waving he's head bobbing and chasing her
now i've not seen them mate
But Sweetie my female is digging around quite alot
is she looking for somewhere to lay?
or is she just mucking around?
If is is trying to lay eggs what is the best nesting set up for her?

Either looking for a place to lay, or trying to get away from the male. It isn't really ideal to breed or try to breed them at 1 year of age, it also isn't ideal to keep them together for long periods of time.

agree with JasonL.

seperate them, give them each there own viv. and in the odd chance she's gravid give her a tub of moist playsand with a plank of wood or plastic on the top (start a little burrow) this helps them heaps.. if she's going to lay.
