Dry looking Skin - HELP

Just a quick question for you all, my diamond python about 11 months old has dry looking skin on a quater of his body. From about the neck down.

I'm not sure what it is, he seems a bit sluggish, but is still moving around, he's due for a feed today so I'm hoping that will help.

Does anyone know what this could be?

There has being no changes in his environment, has a fresh bowl of water everyday..

He isn't about to begin a shed? Otherwise check your heat, make sure it isn't too hot. Diamonds don't like it too hot, keep it around 26c at the warm end.
