E.W.Dragons.Regenerate Tails/ Spontaneous drop?

My E.W.Dragon has lost2 inches of tail, i found in his tank. Wondering if anyone knows if they can loose, and or regenerate tails.? Ta

No they will not regenerate, that only happens to Skinks, Geckos and I think Pygopods

Actually EWD can regrow their tails. I have kept many over the years that have infact regrown tails lost through one way or another. They do take alot longer to re grow than a skink or gecko however.

Got a pic of one with a regenerated tail?
I have also kept them and have never seen this, I have however seen the their tails grow as the get older which kinda looks like its growing back
