my little beardie just started shgedding and i went in and caught him eating his own skin.Does anyone know if this will be ok?

Although I don't have a beardie (i would love one) It is okay for the beardie to eat the skin, they get their calcium from eating the old skin.

i know geckos sometimes eat their skin for calcium. beardies dont usually do it, but most of them seem to have a habit of eatting stuff in their cage

be interesting to see if they eat their skin all year round or just during the hot season :? does anyone know if they eat their skin all year round??
