Enclosure help

Hello,

I have a male MD and I am buying a female one soon, but it will be a juvenile so I will be housing it in a click clack enclosure plastic thingy that is $40 from my local reptile store. Instead of buying that I can buy plastic storage container from Office Works for $6 That is bigger. Can I use that? If so what wattage of a heat mat can I use for it or will the plastic melt?

Officeworks stock starmaid storemate containers, 20/30/50 ltr. These are great for reptiles and wont melt from a heat mat/cord on a properly set thermostat.
