Feeding Hatchling Stimsons

Hi , yes I have read books and scoured the interweb , got many different ideas .

But want to know from everyone when they first try feeding their hatchies , how persistent are you ,
we have a good supply of 1 day old mice and are expecting to waste a few -- or at least give the unwanted ones a home in our beardies bellies
