feeding????

my new Inland Carpet Python is 18 months old, what size mice should i be feeding him coz i think the pet store gave me ones that r to small????

i am feeding my 18mth old coastal 1 medium rat once a week.

as a general rule, if the mouse/rats girth at the largest point is slightly larger that the width of the head (across the top, at the widest point) then it is about the right size ... if you give us a general idea of his size we have a better chance of helping you

my snakes width of his head is around 20 - 25mm and the mice they gave me the widest part on them is only like 10mm...
