When do eggs firm up after been laid ?
Checking eggs
color is a major part in checking

Can eggs be candled as like bird eggs to check on fertile & progress ?

I candled my eggs at about the 3 week mark, (we are talking about beardie eggs arent we barney?) and it worked a treat. Just remember not to put them back upside down or any other position.

Eggs generally firm up 24 hrs after deposition. You can candle them just ensure that the temp. doesn't get too high. The colour of the eggs can vary a lot, it depnds on a few factors including, environment, amount off calcium , fertility etc. The general rule is nice pale white eggs are generally good fertile eggs, however eggs can discolour after a few weeks and even that they might look that they're off. Do not remove eggs if not sure.

yep beardie eggs

one of the was extremely rubbery unlike the other rubbery to feel but firm

wats this mean ?
