hey guys,
just bought my first python, a south western carpet, 10 months old.

just got a few questions to make sure i've got everything ok
click clack setup
ive got heat cord set to 32 degrees, for a 1/3rd of the container

her hide rock is on the top of this 1/3rd , is that ok?
water bowl in the other end.

i've had her for 2 days now, and she was last fed on the 16th
should i try to feed her in a day or 2 or let her settle in for a week before feeding?

cheers

i agree hideup both ends so she has somewere to feel safe and can cool off to and feel safe if you get my drift ... and yerr just let her settle in would be the best thing ... and most off all and most important LOVE, CARE and ENJOY YOUR NEW SNAKE have a good one mate ENJOY YOUR NEW PRIDE AND JOY =D

thanks guys il try after the weekend.
oh and shane13 i got her from radical reptiles

Pretty Much Agree with the others. Also Its Up to u But it may be Easyier for u to feed her in a seperate container .. When i first fed my First snake .. I went to grab her 2 days later and bamm Latched onto me LOL So it might be a good idea. Anyways Good Luck

At ten months old she should be fine in a timber cage or are you going to keep her in a plastic tub all her life?

hmm the tub is 55x35x30 cm , this should be ok for a few months yeah?
i'l upload some pics a bit later
