I think you need to be careful what you call radical. Why is is it a sad state when a Christian Man is in Parliament and he tells people his beliefs. I think its more of a sad state when there is pedophiles and child pornographers in our Parliament, they just hide the fact.
Maybe being a sponsor of the site should also encourage you to keep your anti religious views to yourself.
On your first point; I agree, there should be no hiding for pedophiles or child pornographers, and if a news story of them came up, I would post that in the interesting links as well.
If you haven’t noticed I post many things in the interesting links, with the goal of hopefully getting people to ‘think’ about things, situations, current and past events.
With regards to your second point; I am a sponsor because I support the site, I support the hobby and are interested in the hobby. But if something is interesting or pertinent that should be raised and hasn’t been, then I am not going to hide behind “I am a sponsor so I better not be real”
There is nothing anti religious at all, it is an observation and a position that, regardless of religious beliefs, every individual should hold, that is that religious views should not be in parliament. You will even find that many a reverend will say that same.
I know some of my customers are religious but that doesn’t bother me in the slightest. We have even spoke about it, I have a number of friends who are religious, I was a lab partner of a born again Christian in one of my biochem classes. It doesn’t bother me in the slightest.
Now back to the question you posed. It is radical for the simple reasoning that the majority of Christians don’t actually then the end of days are near, and that bible prophecy is coming true all around. Liberal Christians make up the majority and the “radical” as I have put it, is usually used in reference to evangelical, or young earth Christians. There was actually a report a little while ago about a Sydney reverend or minister, (not 100%) who said that young earth or evangelicals are “radical”
