first encounter with a ven i had was a goulds hooded snake i was 10 i kept it for a year or so and fed it lizards and skinks that i raked up

First experience and only was a bit similar. Was riding my push bike out at a old paddock us kids used to get up to no good and road over what I thought was a large branch, until the branch flung up and bit the back of my peddle. It ended up being a huge brown and now looking back I am so dam lucky It didn't get me because it was huge really big head and fat as

The Browns, Tiapans etc scare me, and I hope I never run into one again. Apparently there's a heap of them here, neighbors always finding them in there yards we've never had one yet though so not sure why, maybe the dogs.
