First velvet worm dissapointment

just checked on my velvet worms, found 2 dead young and the largest one i had also dead. One positive came out of it tho, i now tho a little more bout how the young are produced, hanging out her rear was a bunch of unfertilised eggs and one dead young:(. Allothers look find and one of the origanal specimens i obtained was shedding.

Umm they don't actually make velvet though unlike silk worms - its more that they look like velvet. Very cool little critters with little known about their captive husbandry.
