Found a gecko and want it identified i think its a spiny tail

Hi my mate found this gecko today and i wanna find out what it is i think its a Strophurus spinigerus

It is an Asian House Gecko - Hemidactylus frenatus.

Yeah the original tails have spinose, regenerated do not, sometimes they are barely noticeable and other times they are quite prominent like the specimen you have found
