Frillneck tooth

Hi
One of my frillnecks has a small problem. He is a 2 year old male who will eat anything. I think he bit on something hard and bent his front tooth, which is now growing outwards and is indenting on his upper lip. Does anyone know if their teeth grow back? What are your opinions on whether i should take it out or not? Other than this small problem he is in good health. Ive attached some photos to show the tooth.

my guess he tried to eat some bark, not only willt hat kill him by certain impaction, but its also a breedign ground for bacteria..

about the tooth, it adds character.. i dont think they grow them back.. just a guess.. you could ask a herp vet..

How much more has it got to grow? He'd probably be OK with it.. but if you don't like the look, yank it. (Get a vet to yank it)

i think they grow them back but, if that is having complications you might need to get the tooth pulled. in anycase call the herp vet.

Apparently Ian has retired???

Matt Bonnnett told me last meeting, leaves SA with no herp specialist vet!

Thanks for the advice everyone. It would be interesting to know if their front teeth do grow back. Ian Hough has retired. In the past i have seen Rickman at Salisbury Pk Vet, he is quite knowledgeable about reptiles and is not scared to work through a problem
