I think my Magnificent boy is slightly confused, he keeps latching on to another green tree frog and wont ley go!!!!! does he not understand that she is a different type of frog???

That's not that uncommon for two closely aligned frogs to do that :)
 
Not necessarily a girl, but yes he would be a male. I have seen males on males, males on other species, and males on dead frogs, it doesn't have to be a girl. :p

Put up some pics of the insides of their thumbs and a bunch of people here can sex them for you.
 
Michael Tyler had a magnificent and a green together and they bred and all the babies were deformed in some way
 
Hmm that is a kind of odd thing to happen, have you seen the crosses between P.corriacea and P.australis? Pretty awesome little frogs.

By the way on you signature, the longest word in the world is the chemical name of the protein Titin. :p
