Found this little guy at our back door the other night.

He was happy to get a photo or two then on his way.. there is heaps of them where we are.

Are they also known as a barking gecko?? Thats what a mate of mine was calling it?? I dont know geckos much.
 
Nice colour. Its actually quite odd they call them barking geckos, mine have only "barked" a few times and that was because i scared them. Pretty sure other species can also make a noise. Thick tailed geckos are their normal common name.

yeah you can tell its a thick tailed gecko, barking gecko (underwoddisauris milli or something like that) by its tail and te colour of it most of the time
